Dave Vernon, from Norfolk, is clearly a fan of Johnny Cash, and sings in the same deep country voice. Whilst quite a few of these songs are covers, there are some Dave Vemon originals, namely the title track, which is a tribute to the great Johnny Cash, “Everything I Need In A Woman”, and “Child of 1945 which he co-wrote with Nicky Nichols. Nicky Nicholls wrote “Hangover Love”. These are stories about love and life in true country tradition. It was recorded, mixed and engineered by Jonny Cole, in The Mill Studio, Wingfarthing, Norfolk and Jeff Gipson is on lead guitar on the title track.
