I take a look at an artiste who has only been over here in Benidorm less than six months but is making a name for himself as a top Country Singer.
 Duncan Whitaker hails from Beeston, a suburb of Nottingham has been a professional entertainer for over 12 years working in many venues, the past six of which he was part of a Blues Brothers Tribute Show aboard the cruise ships for Ocean Village and decided it was time for a change so he opted for the Country Scene and came over to Spain.
 I saw him at his latest venue which is the Two Seals located on Calle Lepanto where he performs six nights a week. There was a good crowd in the house the night I went and they enjoyed the music of Johnny Cash, Kenny Rogers, Don Williams, Garth Brooks and a few thrown in from the Eagles.
 Duncan obviously knows his country music and performs the songs very much in the style of the artist who originally had the hit them.
 If the Country Music scene is your taste, then go along and see Country Dunc he is at the Two Seals every night except Thursday.

Country Dunc
Will Sparkle, real name Wilf Milne has been in the entertainment business for many years and was a Frankie Vaughan dancer when very young. Since then he has worked with The Kay Sisters, Claire Sweeney and organised many charity events including the Finestrat Variety Show at the Cassa De Cultura in the village itself.
 The show is produced by Steve Glimmer who takes on the role of compere in this fast moving show full of quick change routines.
I went to see them down at the New Beatles Bar which is a new venue for them but has proved so successful they have been booked to do the show every Tuesday and Saturday at 22.30. You can also catch the show in Caspers situated in the Old Town on Thursday evenings but it is so popular the place is usually packed well before the show commences.
 If you like drag comedy then go along and see the Will Sparkle Show, the audience on the night I saw it certainly enjoyed themselves.
AN EVENING WITH WILL SPARKLE
Nigel looks at the Will Sparkle Show. This is an energetic comedy drag show with many costume changes and incorporates songs from the shows including Hello Dolly and Cabaret  together with imitations of Shirley Bassey & Liza Minnelli to name a couple and there is even a comedy stand up routine thrown in.
