He has been in the licensing trade for many years before coming to Benidorm while Sam spent her time in the UK as an accounts assistant, number crunching at the head office of the clothes outlet River Island and until she made the move to Spain had never worked in a pub. They have been together for 12 years and have two children Luke and Paige.
The bar is very friendly and has a good family atmosphere with entertainment including a pool table and on Monday nights plays host to a fun quiz which is very well attended. On the pool side of things Sam is currently the Benidorm Ladies Pool Champion so not surprisingly sport is very much on the agenda as in the very near future a big screen TV is to be installed which will be showing all the major sporting events.

This week’s Benidorm venue is centred in the heart of the Old Town on Carrer Santa Faz. The Streets of London Pub is a small bar with a very big welcome. The proprietors Brett and Sam have been at the bar for almost 5 years and have resided on the Costa Blanca a little over 9 years. Brett grew up in Paddington but by birth is a true ‘Cockney’ actually being born within the sound of Bow Bells.
